Arizona – Dark Money Disclosure Upheld in Court

The Maricopa County Superior court has upheld the state’s initiative-passed ‘dark money’ disclosure law against a challenge initiated by lawmakers.  The court held that there was no constitutional violation involved in the substance or structure of the law.  Several other challenges have been levied against the law to avoid implementation, but the requirements remain in effect for 2024.
