Orange County, California – County Adds Lobbying Reporting Requirements
The Orange County Board of Supervisors recently passed Ordinance 26-005, which expands lobbyist regulations. Beginning January 1, 2027, a county lobbyist will be required to file a quarterly lobby report, due on the 15th of every quarter. The first report will be due on April 15, 2027. The definition of lobbying activities was also expanded to include communications directed to any staff, department head, or appointee.
