Iowa – General Assembly Passes Campaign Finance Bill
The Iowa General Assembly adjourned sine die on May 3 after passing House File 2601. The new bill prohibits foreign nationals from contributing to ballot issue campaigns and requires committees to confirm with donors regarding foreign national status and contributions.
