Wyoming – Governor Signs Executive Order Banning Campaign Contributions in State Buildings

 In Blog, Updates

Governor Gordon has signed an executive order banning campaign contributions in state facilities and commercial buildings, including the Capitol. The ban does not apply to areas controlled by the Wyoming Legislature; however, the Senate and House have both recently passed similar rules banning any person from knowingly soliciting, offering, delivering, or accepting a contribution in the Capitol. The executive order is effectively immediately and is to remain in effect until the State Building Commission declares the ban permanent.
