As part of the ongoing budget process, the San Francisco Ethics Commission is facing steep cuts that Chair Yvonne Lee has stated could jeopardize their work. While the proposed cuts this year are to be followed by an increase next year, much of that increase is budgeted for public campaign financing and not the Commission’s operations.
